For those who've lost someone or who are facing death, there are several books I can recommend. If you are undergoing a heart transplant or other major disease, read these books; it may help you with what you are facing.

It's been a number of years now since Susan died. I moved to Palo Alto and back to work in computering. My life has been a series of lives: I've had lives in several different cultures and countries, all sorts of adventures, and part of events. From each of these, one learns a bit, one grows a bit, and one never knows what will happen next.
