I use only a few tools. You don't need much.
- Upgrade to the latest version of

browser.
- Allaire's HomeSite is an HTML Editor. It lets you open multiple html pages simultaneously so you can clip and paste between them. It also lets you do global search and replace, so that you can open all of your site's web pages at the same time and in one step, change something in all of them. It also includes an HTML validator within the editor so that you can test your HTML and fix things on the spot. Try it free.
- PaintShop Pro: Graphics program. You could pay $600 and buy Photoshop. But... for web pictures, PaintShop Pro is enough. Try it free.
- LView Pro: Another graphics program. Try it free.
- Webtrends: Web site traffic analysis software. It makes up a report for you about the traffic at your site. It's the best on the market. Try it free.
- WS-FTP: File Transfer. Very useful for transferring your files to your server or back again.
- Many people use WebTV. Fetch a free WebTV Viewer to see how your web site will appear on WebTV.
