FAQ: Windows Fonts
Windows includes a set of fonts. These are in the C:\windows\fonts folder.
- Arial
- Arial Bold
- Arial Bold Italic
- Arial Italic
- Courier 10,12,15
- Courier New
- Courier New Bold
- Courier New Bold Italic
- Courier New Italic
- Modern
- MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24
- MS Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24
- Small Fonts)
- Symbol
- Symbol 8,10,12,14,18,24
- Tahoma (if present)
- Times New Roman
- Times New Roman Bold
- Times New Roman Bold Italic
- Times New Roman Italic
- WingDings
All other fonts are optional and may be removed. Create a folder such as "Unused Fonts", open the C:\windows\fonts folder, and move the unwanted fonts to the "Unused Fonts" folder.
To reinstall a TrueType font, just drag it into the C:\windows\Fonts folder.
